What’s new on our Erasmus+ strategic partnerships!

After an extended period of suspension of all activities of European programmes due to the covid-19 pandemic, mobility activities for the European programme (School Partnerships) Erasmus + 2019-2021 “The Others and Us – Bridges between Us” resumed.

a) In October 2021 (18 – 22/10) school education partner-organisations from

➤ Gymnasium of Kanithos, Chalkida, Greece

➤ Colegiul Tehnic Constantin Brancusi, Petrila, Romania

➤ IES Campanillas, Malaga, Spain

➤ Cemil Atlas Ortaokulu, Izmir, Turkey

participated in workshops and events concerning the sub-topic The Two Sexes – Boys – Girls – Other at IES Campanillas, in Malaga, Spain. Both students and teachers were given the opportunity to realise the necessity of accepting diversity and promoting equality of every citizen.

b) In November (22 – 26/11/2021, the aforementioned school education partner-organisations participated in workshops and events concerning the sub-topic Roma – Gypsy at Gymnasium of Kanithos in Chalkida, Greece to emphasise the unique contribution of the Roma people to Europe’s diversity and common heritage. Students and teachers took part in educational and creative activities as well as in educational visits to places of interest in the vicinity, aiming at promoting the environmental and cultural wealth of the region.

  • A common component of the aforementioned European actions, with unquestionable added value redeemable to the common European future of the participating countries, is the fact that the participants had the opportunity on the one hand to get in touch with the host countries’ history and culture and on the other hand forge solid friendships – bridges with their peers.
